Warren Glenn Forinash, 88, of Hughesville, MD, passed away surrounded by his family on February 7, 2026. He is survived by his wife of 65 years, Patsy Forinash, and their four sons: Glenn (Kimberly), Scott (Michelle), Steven, and Jason (Michelle) Forinash. He also is lovingly remembered by six grandchildren and their families, including four great-grandsons. He was predeceased by his sister, Helena Tedder of Whiteville, NC and his parents, Glenn and Itha Forinash of Huttonsville, WV.

Warren was born on November 22, 1937 in Valley Bend, WV. He grew up and attended school in the Tygart Valley WV region until he and his new bride moved to Washington DC and then Southern Maryland to make their home and raise a family. He served in the US Navy Reserve for eight years and worked for 33 years for the Potomac Electric Power Company, retiring as a Maintenance Manager in 1991. Warren was a “fixer of things” and a craftsman, finding solutions to anything mechanical and had the ability to build anything from any kind of materials. He enjoyed outdoor activities such as gardening, camping, hunting and fishing. After his retirement, he spent several seasons as a hunting guide in Colorado. He was known for an incredibly strong work ethic and setting a standard for excellence, which he passed along to his children and grandchildren. Warren had a great love of home and family, a deep dedication to the love of his life Patsy, and an unrivaled willingness to help friends and neighbors.  Visitation will be held Wednesday, February 18, 2026 from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at the Raymond Funeral Home in LaPlata, MD. A graveside service will be held on Saturday February 21st, at 11:00 AM at the Old Brick Church Cemetery near Huttonsville, WV. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Warren’s name can be made to Shriners Hospital for Children. The Tomblyn Funeral Home of Elkins is assisting the family with arrangements.
