Anna  Harper

Anna Ruth Harper, 85, of Elkins WV, died February 20,2026 at Valentine Assisted Living, surrounded by family. She was born September 25, 1940 at Thomas WV, a daughter of the late Albert and Eleanor Jennings of Davis WV. She is survived by two sons, Keith and wife Tracy Harper of Elkins, WV, Rodney and wife Katie Harper of Dryfork, WV; one daughter Peggy and husband Ronnie Bennett of Job, WV; six grandchildren, several great grand-children, and great-great grandchildren also survive. Also preceding her in death were two sisters, Della Kibert and Norma Jean Fusco; one brother, Frank Jennings and a special aunt, Pauline Trenein. Anna retired from Kmart as assistant manager after many years. Mrs. Harper was a member of the Davis Memorial Presbyterian Church in Elkins, WV. Friends may call from 5:30 pm until 7:00 pm Wednesday, February 25, 2026 at the Tomblyn Funeral Home in Elkins. A funeral service will be held at 7:00 pm Wednesday from the funeral home chapel with Pastor Todd Rhodes officiating. Cremation will follow. The Tomblyn Funeral Home of Elkins is in charge of the arrangements for Anna Ruth Harper. Condolences may be expressed to the family at www.tomblynfuneralhome.com.
