William  Hall

Wiliam “Craig” Hall, age 78 years, a resident of Bridgeport, WV, passed away Monday, March 16, 2026, in the United Hospital Center at Bridgeport, WV. He was born June 12, 1947 at West Union, WV, a son of the late William Edward Hall and the late Nellie Friend Hall. On November 23, 1991 at Parsons, WV he was married to Mary Welch-Hall who survives in Bridgeport, WV. Also surviving is one son, William C. Hall, II and wife Natasha McMann of Nashville, TN; a stepdaughter, Apryl Strother and husband Eric of Elkins; a sister, Tamara Henderson and husband Robert of Rivesville, WV and a granddaughter, Sasha Zirkle. Craig attended the schools of Doddridge County, where he excelled in athletics and earned an Accounting Degree from Fairmont State College. He was a member of the West Union Baptist Church. Craig was employed by R.D. Wilson Sons and Company for many years. At the time of his retirement, Craig was employed by Fanta Se Floors in Albuquerque, New Mexico where he resided for 18 years until returning to West Virginia. Craig’s request for cremation has been honored. Inurnment of his cremains will take place at the Phillips Cemetery at Jimtown, WV at a later date. The Tomblyn Funeral Home of Elkins, WV is in charge of the arrangements for William “Craig” Hall.  Condolences may be expressed to the family at www.tomblynfuenralhome.com.
