Kenneth Kepner

Kenneth Harold Kepner, age 83 years, a resident of Elkins, passed away Monday, June 8, 2026 in the J.W. Ruby Memorial Hospital in Morgantown. He was born August 15, 1942 in Elkins a son of the late Fred Kepner and the late Avis Fisher Kepner. On March 6, 1963, he married Rosa Lee Mullenax who preceded him in death. Surviving are two daughters, Brenda McDonald and Beth Coger and husband Junior all of Elkins. Also surviving are Grandchildren, Joshua McDonald and wife Jennifer, Tosha Lantz and husband Tommy, Courtney Roy and husband Tyler, Jeremy Coger and fiancé Rilee, Bradley Grey, Joriea, Keith and Chris Kepner; brothers, Donald Kepner of Ohio and Richard Kepner of Pennsylvania and several great grandchildren. Also preceding him in death was a son, Kenneth “Buddy” Kepner, a son-in-law, Tim McDonald and brothers, Harry Kepner and Joe Kepner. Mr. Kepner attended the schools of Randolph County and was employed as a molder for Kelly Foundry and Machine Company for many years prior to his retirement. He enjoyed hunting for deer and turkey, loved deer camp with his friends and loved spending time with his grandchildren and his family. Friends may call from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm Friday, June 12, 2026 at the Tomblyn Funeral Home in Elkins. A funeral service will be held at 1:00 pm Saturday, June 13th from the funeral home chapel with Joey Simmons officiating. Interment will follow in the Maplewood Cemetery in Elkins. The Tomblyn Funeral Home of Elkins is in charge of the arrangements for Kenneth Harold Kepner. Condolences may be expressed to the family at www.tomblynfuneralhome.com.
