On November 6, 1947, Donna married Joseph Kent Jr in Clintonville, Pa. at Grace Methodist Church, they had celebrated 42 years before Joe’s passing on December 8, 1989.

Donna loved serving her church through fellowship dinners and making her famous apple & pecan pies and breads & jellies for the annual bazaar.

Each one of her grandchildren and great-grandchildren have a quilt “Great” hand made for them. Sharing her childhood stories of being raised on a dairy farm brought her great pride. One of the many stories was delivering milk, cottage cheese & butter out of the back of her father’s Packard at the age of five.
